Privacy Policy

My Team Tags NFC lets you program and verify My Team Tags NFC chips inside of the tag. We do not collect, retain, or transmit any information to our servers or to third parties. Everything stays either on your device or on the tag you program.

1. Information Handled by the App

- User-Provided URLs: The links you enter are used only to validate format and, if you choose, to encode onto the NFC tag.

- Write History: For convenience, the app may keep up to 10 recent URLs in local storage on your device. This history exists solely on your device and can be cleared at any time.

2. Where Data Lives

- On Device: Recent writes are stored in iOS UserDefaults and never leave your device.

- On Tag: When you write a tag, the URL is stored on the chip itself for anyone with NFC access to read.

- No Cloud Storage: TeamTags does not receive, copy, or back up any of this information.

3. Permissions

- NFC Access: Required so the app can scan and program NFC chips. Declining the NFC permission disables read/write features.

4. No Analytics or Tracking

- The app includes no analytics services, ad networks, or trackers.

- Cookies, advertising identifiers, and usage logs are not collected.

5. Children’s Privacy

- TeamTags NFC does not target children. The app processes only the URLs that users choose to enter.

6. Data Security

- Because data never leaves your device, security relies on your device’s protections (passcode, Face ID, etc.). Clearing history or uninstalling the app removes stored URLs.

7. Policy Changes

- We may update this policy; any changes will appear in the app release notes or accompanying documentation. Continued use after an update indicates acceptance.
